What is the SDL Certification program?

The SDL Certification Program is the industry’s premier technology based certification which provides a recognized standard of excellence in SDL software knowledge. It’s a comprehensive professional education program designed to develop and validate expertise in the use of SDL translation technology tools.

The SDL Certification program is designed to help educate the SDL user community on the latest technological developments and best practices in translation technology, terminology management and automated quality assurance checks.

There are different SDL Certification options for Translators and Project Managers for either SDL Trados Studio 2009 and SDL MultiTerm 2009.

There are 3 levels of Certification exams and training offered to support the SDL Certification program for Translators:

There is 1 level of training and Certification exams for Translators offered for SDL MultiTerm 2009.  

Achievement of Certification in SDL MuliTerm proves a sound understanding of the features and functionality of SDL MultiTerm 2009.

This Certification is supported by SDL MultiTerm 2009 for Translators Training:

What are the requirements to get you started with SDL Certification?

1. Own a legal, registered license(s) of SDL Trados Studio 2009
2. Study / Prepare to pass the suggested level - SDL Certification Training courses are highly suggested
3. Successful completion of the each exam will award SDL Certification for the corresponding level. Each user will receive a link that can be displayed on their email signature/ website, as well as a Certification badge.
